Since a couple of days we have been staying in the stunning Castle Hill Village! This village was our base for the K2 Chill Series 2010. The first part of the competition took place in Craigieburn Valley with really nice weather but icy conditions. Sebastian and Johannes both qualified for the finals on the next day. Both of them tried to improve their ranking on the next day and picked big lines in the icy competition face. After 2 runs they had managed to finish one good run each, but still weren't able to score enough points to progress further to the top of the field. The second part of the competition was supposed to be held at Mt. Olympus. On Saturday the wheather changed and after several hours of waiting the judges decided to postpone the competition and use the wheather day on sunday. During the next day, the wheather didn't change at all and after another couple of hours the competition was cancelled. In the end they got some good points for the 2011 FWR for Sebastian did well in the final and Johannes was ranked as 4th in the end. Some pictures and impressions will follow during the next days ;)!
